" Since already 4 years, the Workshop of the Safranier and its creator Dominique Prévost welcome American students, in source universities of San Diego, Santa Cruz and San Francisco in California.
These artists come to work techniques of the engraving, the
lithography and the monotype, so as to complete their training and
to obtain an accreditation to obtain then their "Master"
Academic.
Antibes city of art, has been chosen for its quality of life,
the beauty of its old stones and the cultural development
initiate by the city.
For the second year, a new university has rallied to
the Workshop of the Safranier, it concerns Skidmore in the state of New York, whose Parisian offices are directed
by Norman Stokle.
And during a fifteen of days, the (great) pupils complete
their training with artists that come to explain their work
and their techniques to the Workshop of the safranier
or again in the new spaces cultural Baths shower.
Among punctual professors, one noted Joumana Mourad,a
artist that has produced a series of monotypes pressed to the
Safranier that are currently exposed to London with a lot
success.
